Cub Scouts STEM Program

According to the National Math + Science Initiative, the U.S. needs one million more STEM professionals over the next decade to keep up with projected demand. By then, 80% of jobs will require technology skills. On Saturday, Zach Hilgart visited Imagine Rosefield Elementary School in Surprise to present to the Cub Scouts of Pack 194. As part of the Boy Scouts’ STEM Nova Awards, these 3rd and 5th graders are learning about different career paths in the STEM field. Zach informed them on all the exciting things that pursuing a civil engineering career could bring. Maybe we’ll see one of these scouts in our office some day!
